For the first time in a fighting game, characters moved like real people.
In Virtua Fighter 2 the torque in the joints could be seen as the characters moved, and the knees moved when body weight was shifted for another fighting move.
It was officially the most wanted game ever in Japan, and had an amount of 2000 moves.
